Vegesna Foundation is dedicated to serving differently-abled children.

Vegesna Foundation started the project in 1988 with the help of NRI friends to serve the rural (dis)abled children. with a noble mission to serve the children who are disabled due to various reasons. The foundation is established in 1988 as a registered trust in Hyderabad, India with Vamsee Ramaraju as the life time Managing Trustee. Vegesna was initially started in rented facility with 8 students from various social groups attending as day scholars.

Vegesna Foundation serve the children who are disabled due to various reasons like:

• Polio-affected
• Orthopaedically handicapped Hearing and Visually impaired
• Slow learners due to mental retardation etc. from economically and socially dis-advantaged groups irrespective of caste, creed, religion and social status
• Vocational Junior college for girls (Four courses Physiotherapy, Pre Primary Teachers Training, Computer Science & Engineering and Multi Purpose health Worker Course)
• Home based rehabilitation for children & Adult Disabled persons
