Vegesna Foundation is dedicated to serving differently-abled children. Please extend the helping hand.

Vegesna Foundation started the project in 1988 with the help of NRI friends to serve the rural (dis)abled children:

Established on August 22, 1988 as a registered trust in Hyderabad, A.P., India by NRI friends from America with Vamsee Ramaraju as the Life time  Managing Trustee.

Vegesna was initially started in rented quarters with 8 students from various social groups attending as day scholars.

Vegesna Foundation's mission is to serve the children who are disabled due to various reasons.

  • Polio-affected.

  • Orthopaedically handicapped Hearing and Visually impaired.

  • Slow learners due to mental retardation etc. from economically and socially dis-advantaged groups irrespective of caste, creed, religion and social status.

  • Vocational Junior college for girls (Two courses Physiotherapy, Pre Primary Teachers Training Course)

  • Home based rehabilitation for children & Adult Disabled persons
