Dreams Come True - To realize the dream of the youth to have a good earning by getting a suitable job immediately after completion of their studies, Vegesna Foundation initiated the Vocational Training at +2 stage in Physiotherapy, Pre-School Teacher Training only for girls integrated with differently abled girls. Thus Vegesna Foundation's dream of offering good vocational training to the differently abled girls along with the normal girls also has come true with this project.

Courses offered


Initially Vegesna Foundation is offering Vocational Training in Two Courses:

1. Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a branch of modern medical science / playing an important role in rehabilitation of the handicapped. It is understood that there are 50 million handicapped people in the country. As per the yard stick ratio one physiotherapist and two assistant physiotherapists are needed for every ten patients. to render quality line of treatment. Hence there is urgent need for professional physiotherapy assistants to cater to the needs of the growing population of handicapped in our country.

Job Opportunities:
  • As Assistant Physiotherapist in Rehabilitation Centre, Health Club, General Hospitals, Private Physiotherapy Centre, Physiotherapy Colleges, Nature Cure Clinics
  • Under the supervision of qualified physiotherapists they can start a physiotherapy clinics and can be personal Attendant for disable persons.

2. Pre-School Teacher Training

Proper development of the children and national development are interrelated. Researches in child development have shown that early childhood is the foundation stage of the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and personality development of the child. The early childhood years are critical in child life. The rate of development is more rapid during these years. So the Pre-School training of the child plays a vital role in the all-round personality development of the child. In these years of modernization and increasing rate of working women, mother's attention to the child is decreasing. Hence there is an increase for the institutionalized assistance to the mother to cope up with the preschool training. So the need for crèches and pre-school teacher training. There is an increasing demand for the Pre-School training units in rural as well as urban areas - so are the job opportunities for the Pre-School Trained Teachers.

3. Computer Science & Engineering

Apart from the Two Courses i.e. Pre School Teacher Training & Physiotherapy, Vegesna Foundation has introduced a new course “Computer Science & Engineering” from the year 2008-09.

The Following is the information about the course.

There has been a great improvement in the demand for computer professionals during the past few years. To cater to certain computer oriented requirements of the business sector the Computer science & Engineering Course has been introduced from the year 2008-09.

The Main Objectives of starting the course are:
  1. To develop professional competence in the use of computers and related hardware equipment programming skills and DTP techniques.
  2. To train the students to acquire skills and mastery in the use and development of different software.
  3. To prepare for self and wage employment.

After the completion of the course the students will develop the following skills.

Skills to operate different hardware devices:
  • Skills in maintenance procedures.
  • Skills in configuring the system software and installation procedures.
  • Skills in using specific packages and Languages.
  • Skills in programming techniques and data processing.
