Vocational Training Center

The Vegesna Foundation introduced vocational training to the students along with academic education.

Vocational training includes Tailoring, Soft Doll making, computer, Drawing and Painting, Tabla, Music.

The students appear for the Examinations (Lower & Higher) conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Govt., of AP. The successful students will get Teacher jobs after a short teacher training. It is a matter of fact that the courses are very important because they develop the intricate and fine movements of the tendons and the muscles apart from giving training in self-sufficiency.

Tailoring and Embroidery

All the students of the institution attend the Tailoring classes. Eligible students appear for the Board of Technical Education, Govt., of AP Examinations.

Novelties making

Making of novelties like puppets, garlands, show pieces, soft dolls and toys is taught to the students. The cerebral palsy children are specially trained in garland making to improve the finer movements of their limbs.

Music

All the students learn the classical Karnatic Music. The eligible students will appear for the Examinations conducted by Gandharva University, Maharashtra.

Dramatics

The students are encouraged in acting in dramas. The students of the institution have presented dramas in USA in 1993 also. 18 handicapped children performed well known mythological drama Sri Krishna Tulabharam on an experimental basis. This is the first time in history that disabled artists presented the full length drama with all its lighting, settings, songs, and scenes without break and at par with other experienced stage artists in India.

Drawing

All the students of the institution attend the Drawing classes. Eligible students appear for the Board of Technical Education, Govt., of AP Examinations.

Computer Education

All the students of the institution learn computer education. The qualified computer instructor is preparing them keeping in mind to make them as the best computer professionals in the future.
